Here at Greater Second we have our Jailhouse Ministry. We seek to reach out to those incarcerated. When they feel like they are all alone, we are here to reassure them that God is with them no matter the circumstance. We hold worships at the local detention center where we all praise the lord for all that he does for us.
Meet the President: Larry Emmons
Reverend Larry Emmons has been a faithful member of Greater Second ever since his calling to preach in 1981. He is married to Karol Emmons. They have 6 children, 4 girls and 2 boys. After serving 30 years on the Marion Fire Department, Rev. Emmons was ordained in 1983 under the leadership of the late R.H. Faulkner. Larry loves the lord, and enjoys hanging out at the local YMCA. He has participated in the Indy-Mini Marathon for the past 18 years. Reverend Emmons also owns and operates Emmons Grooming Shop where he gives God the praise for all he has overcome.
